October Ellie Activewear Review
Keeping warm with versatile pieces.
Every month Ellie Activewear sends me a monthly 3-pack for free in exchange for a review. Enjoy my 100% red hot thoughts, and read on if the outfit was a hit or miss for me.
The Top
This month's top is a asymmetrical zip-up style thermal with a cute sleeve detail for extra coverage. It's got a warm lining, so it makes for a great layering piece over your favorite Ellie Activewear top. I loved the black sports bra that came with it, but it was too cold to stand alone without the top on. The stretchy, seamless band doesn't roll up on the sports bra, and the criss cross straps keep everything in place. It's one of my favorites, especially when I go running or hold plank position. :)
The Bottoms
This print coordinates with the top's sleeve details and side paneling. It also has a thermal lining, so you stay warm when you're exercising outdoors. It fits a bit loose in the waist, but I'm not sure if that's from me exercising and getting fit or if it runs a bit big. It isn't too big where it's visibly noticeable, but I am a picky one. (It's good to be self-aware!) :) I love that there isn't any cut-out details on this pair, because I definitely don't want a breeze when it's already chilly.
